Live NOAA solar flux and Kp

Propagation planning workbench

Propagation estimates with units, equations and stated limits. They cannot predict whether you will make a contact.

Radiated-power arithmetic

Tracks transmitter output through feed loss to maximum-direction antenna gain.

EIRP 251.19 W
ERP 153.11 W · antenna input 63.10 W

Calculation

EIRP = Ptx × 10^((gain dBi − loss)/10). ERP uses gain over a half-wave dipole; dBi = dBd + 2.15.

Meaning

This is peak-direction arithmetic. Confirm whether published antenna data is gain or realised gain before separately adding mismatch loss.

Not an RF-exposure compliance result. Compliance needs frequency, duty cycle, distance, field region and applicable limits.

Current solar-terrestrial observations

This page reports live NOAA measurements and scale summaries with their observation times. It does not claim a contact or band opening. Actual propagation depends on path, local time, season, ionosphere, noise, antennas and station capability.
